いち OBSERVATIONS いち
The xaela doesn't appear readily approachable, with a neutral glare at his face and with reserved body language. Purple skin and dark scales run along a musclebound figure. Broad in width, shadow-casting in height - Saitou is the picture of a brooding, tall specimen, who wraps himself in dark cloth and rugged leather, valuing practicality over fashion. Similarly, his choices through the day display a similar sort of quality, favoring quick and easy fixes over proper methods.
A reserved character, no doubt - Saitou is often quiet and reserved, less out of shyness and far more out of a natural dislike for pleasantries and crowds. The young man, who holds a certain bitter air of a person in elder age, tends to be reclusive out of an aversion to society. As a result, his voice is gruff and deep - curt words laced with impatience; his lips seldom smile, save for in fleeting moments.
The term 'robotic' is a fitting one, in describing Saitou's mannerisms; arguably apathetic, closed-off and abrasive. Some things lie deeper than the eye, however; an anomalous presence has settled within his soul, his aether corrupted to those keen seers.
に RUMORS & HOOKS に
A mysterious figure has his secrets, from a demonic aura to a long list of past and current misdeeds. From the islands of the Ruby Sea, where Saitou's origin began amongst circles of Yakuza families, all the way to Eorzea, where the eastern arts of war and deception are used for selfish purposes. Saitou's repertoire is based off of a criminal upbringing and background, where notable skills include espionage and assassination tactics.
Saitou's anomalous presence is a notable one to those who can sense aether keenly enough. It's as if a curse or parasite has latched itself onto the man's soul, with sinister energies tethered to it. It's something uncommon - hard to pin in its origin, but its aura closely mirrors that of old tales from the mouths of Kami Priests and Priestesses, who warn of demons in disguise.
The xaela is a seasoned sort, using skills as a shinobi for purposes on either side of the law. However, on his days off, Saitou is remarkably tame, preferring quiet junctures. A sleepy tavern or a secluded perch do just fine, where he often sketches, shovels down meals and toys around with handheld games and puzzles.

Saitou, if you could not tell by now, is not what most reasonable people would call a good person. He says horrible things and his actions are even worse than that. He gets a rise out of harming others due to the power he feels from it, and is addicted to violence; the sight of blood makes him giddy, and he can't get enough of it.
I, as a player, do not condone OOC or IRL hate speech or violence (unless you cut me off in traffic). I think my character is a scumbag, so I feel happy when someone really beats the daylights out of him within IC reason. Be aware that he is a deceptive fighter with a void-touched presence, so overwhelming him might not be so easy. I will not consent to character death or super-serious injury (I.E. coma for months) only because I like RPing him.
That being said, if we happen to RP and something comes up that I happen to not be comfortable with, I will voice it respectfully and clearly (and will typically ask for a simple fade to black and OOC discussion to tie any loose IC ends), just as I expect anyone else to do so with me.
RP is supposed to be fun for all who are involved, so that being said, feel more than free to address any concerns. I consider myself an understanding, empathetic person and will not shame you for what you are uncomfortable with. Basically, if my RP partner isn't having fun, then I'm not, either.
